It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jelinek of Davison, Michigan, born in New Buffalo, Michigan, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jelinek and Bessie Jelinek Sr. (Knytch); his wife Donna Cluchey; and his nephew David Bauer of Lake Fenton. He is survived by: his grandson Kyle; his son Phillip Jelinek (Tracy); his grandson Tyler; his great-uncle Ernie Jelinek; his sister-in-law Nancy Hale of Alabama; his nieces and nephews, Kristopher Caverly (Sharon) of Lake City, MI, Lee Hale (Mandy), Jill Glossinger (Jesse), Pam Bauer of Florida and Amy Ford of Alabama; his great-nephew Jim Boy Hardman (Carol) of Goodrich; and his cousins, Nancy Riemann (late Jim), Jim Jelinek (Teddie), Tom Jelinek (Marilyn) and Amy Grey (Bob). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davison United Methodist Church.
