It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude (Spencer) A. Yaklin of Davison, Michigan, born in Hardin, Montana, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roderick Spencer and Edna Spencer (Carper); her husband James H. Yaklin; her son Scott Yaklin; and her great grandchild Grace.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Yaklin (Jeanette) and Julie Noel (Chris); her grandchildren, Jeremy (Elizabeth), Melissa (David), Jessica (Matthew), Taylor, Kelly, Nicole (Chris) and Matt; her sisters, Janet Kewin and Charlotte Shanks; and her close friend Daisy. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.
