He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Haynes and Catherine Haynes (Chartier); his daughter Tammie Lea Haynes; and his brothers, Richard and Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ames; his pet Sassie; his sons, Stephen Haynes (Susan) and Alan Haynes (Sarah); and his siblings, Lee Haynes (Kathy) of Marquette, Sandra Tolonen of Cincinnati, OH and Carolyn Haynes of Boston, MA. He is also survived by two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
