She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lewis and Stella Lewis (Gary Meringa); and her siblings, Robert Lewis (Margie) and Carol Swartz (Fred). She is survived by: her husband Edward McLaughlin; her children, Gary Meringa II (Thera) and Molly Czarnopys (Adam); her grandchildren, Lucas Meringa, Lilyana Meringa, Alexander Czarnopys and Benjamin Czarnopys; her brother Stanley Lewis (Sherry); and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Mylensky, Mary Cook and David Cook. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
