She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bakes and Marie Bakes; her sisters, Doris Sadowski and Norma Fahling; and her brothers-in-law, Jim Fahling, David Stoppenhagen and David Reeves.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis "Joe" Palma; her sons, Jay Palma (Shelly) and Lance Palma (Sally); her grandchildren, Aaron Palma (Allie), Wesley Palma, Molly DeJong (Nick), Abbey Palma and Wyatt Palma; her great grandchildren, Samuel, Lucy DeJong and Aiken Joe Palma; her sisters, Joyce Stoppenhagen and Sharon Reeves; and her siblings-in-law, Ray Sadowski, Betty Dykstra and Margaret Palma. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
