He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meerman and Gertrude Meerman (Knoper); his wife Gertrude; and his daughter Shirley Meyer. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Meerman, Barb Breen (Rog), Beverly Wilson (Mark), Luanne Modderman (Jeff) and Lon Meerman; his grandchildren, Jamie Meyer, Joshua Breen (Sara), Tiffany Green, Trenton Breen, Travis Kellogg, Kyle Kellogg (Amber), Casey Kellogg, Colson Modderman (Samantha), Tayla Scholma (Ethan), Noah Modderman (Hannah), Sarah Riteberg (Jonah), Seth Modderman (Emily), Tyler Meerman (Kristyn), Michael Meerman and Megan Meerman; and his sister-in-law Janice VanTimmeran (Lou). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
