He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Kim and Keith; his grandchildren, Stacey Long (Ryan), Laura Brendsel (Bre), Jeremy Busman (Shelby), Kaylee Ward, Kyle Gura and Kameron Gura; his great grandchildren, Autumn Long, Ezekiel Long, Vivian Long, Haven Busman and Allileah Ward; his sister Bonnie Schmidt; his niece Kristi Paxson (Paul); his nephew Kenny Schmidt (Julie); and his great-nephews, Kory Schmidt and Klinton Schmidt.

Memorial donations may be made to the Coopersville Athletic Dept.
