He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Konyndyk. He is survived by: his mother Joan Konyndyk (Koldenhoven); his sons, Chad Konyndyk (Amanda) and Dustin Konyndyk; and his siblings, Dan Konyndyk and Debra Datema (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
