He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard "Bud" Welsheimer and Elsie Welsheimer (Workman); his son Ben; his brothers-in-law, Michael Sherlock and Tim Sherlock; and his nephew Marcus DeWit.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Welsheimer (Sherlock); his children, Jacklyn Gentile (Adam) and Ashley Simons (Brett); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Welsheimer, Julien Auve, Caoilinn Moore, Juliet Mae Simons, Logan Alexander Simons and Zoey Kay Gentile; his siblings, Ron Welsheimer (Violet), Randy Welsheimer, Anita DeWit (Kevyn) and Lisa Jarka (Josh); his father-in-law Benjamin Sherlock; and his sisters-in-law, Cindi Howe (Ted) and Mary Pennington (Chris).
