He was predeceased by: his father Duane DeHate; his brother Duane DeHate II; and his brother-in-law Jerry Tomkowiak. He is survived by: his wife Melissa DeHate; his children, Alan DeHate (Meghan) and Andrea Reini; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Victoria, Gabriella, Abbigail and Carol Ann; his siblings, Connie Tomkowiak, Kathie Highfield (Tom) and John DeHate (Loretta); his sister-in-law Joann DeHate; and the mother of his children Deborah DeHate. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
