Marilyn Ghekiere Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Ghekiere of Columbus, Michigan, who passed away on December 9, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Smith and Margerite Smith; and her brother-in-law Robert Lester. She is survived by: her significant other Francis Ghekiere; her children, Cheryl Baumgarten (Virgil), Frank Ghekiere, Kathy Stahl (Dan), Paul Ghekiere (Kristi) and Julie Ghekiere (Paul); and her siblings, Robert "Bud" Smith (Ellie), Jackie Lester, Mary Rose (Jerry), Rita Rhodes (Robert) and John P. (Diana). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren.
