“1960's, my grade school years, our family was invited to a BBQ at John Scharnhorst's home. I met Toni and was completely smitten. Back in my neighborhood I insisted with all of my childhood pals that I had a girlfriend, Toni Lee Scharnhorst. Kept this going until my teens, and one day, a knock at our front door and it WAS Toni. Had a great talk but I was very nervous because I knew my pals must've contacted her to tell her of my years of faux romance claims. RIP Toni. Love, your bf, Kirk Rudolph”
