He is survived by: his children, Stephen Scharp of Gibraltar and Brittney Scharp of Clinton; his parents, Gene "Ed" and Shirley Scharp of Ypsilanti; his sibling Keith Scharp of Sumpter; his grandchildren, Jacob and Wyatt; and his nephews, Branden and Austin Scharp of Sumpter.
