He was predeceased by: his parents, J. P. Puckett and Tennie Puckett (Layton); his wife Wilma R. Ketcham (Fuller); his daughter Tennie Gentry; his grandchildren, Joseph and Jolene Puckett; and his siblings, Charles, Bobby Puckett, Doris Jean Rivers, Barbara Faye Vinson and Pamela Jones.
He is survived by: his son William Puckett (Valerie); his stepchildren, Dana and Matthew Ketcham; his granddaughter Melissa Vickery (Dalton Davis); his great grandchildren, Jenna, Trevor, Alivia and Bensen; and his siblings, Jackie (Lori), Billy (Sandy), David Puckett, Martha Hall, Linda Johnson (Carol David) and Deborah Ward. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
