He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bateman and Josephine Bateman (Hickman); and his brothers, Don and Phil. He is survived by: his former spouse Maymo Dawn Green; his stepdaughters, Jeannie Clement and Barbara Murray (Terry); his former wife Mary Lou Furney; his daughters, Amy Mason (Larry) and Jennifer Schneider; his wife Peggy Yats; his stepchildren, Kirk Yats (Kim), Karla Shea (Mark) and Keith Yats (Sharon); and his brothers, Al Hickman and Gene Bateman (Judy). He is also survived by twenty four grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
