He was predeceased by: his sister Christine Manos. He is survived by: his wife Carol Platsis (Spooner); his children, Zacharias Platsis of Wilmington, Delaware and Artemis Fuchs of Charleston; his siblings, Mary Platsis of Battle Creek and George Platsis of Okemos; and his grandchildren, Henry, Albert, Sophia and Miriam.

Memorial contributions may be made to Arbor Hospice or a charity of your choice.
