She was predeceased by: her husband Marion Dietle; her parents, Viola Hughes (Jones) and Stephen Slane; her sisters, Joan McDermitt (Hughes) and Beverly Bishop (Hughes); and her grandson Dustin Dietle.

She is survived by: her close friend Jill Seitz; her children, Kirk Dietle (Melanie) of Massillon, OH, Leslie Olivarez (Joe) of Chelsea and Lawrence Dietle (Jill) of Canton, OH; her grandchildren, Adam Hillman (Brenda) of Chelsea, Skye Hillman of Nashville, TN and Leah Dietle of Canton, OH; her great grandchild Aubrey Hillman; and her sisters, Jackie Lohrer (Hughes) of Harrison Twp, MI and Sharon Fletcher (Slane) of Grass Lake, MI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
