We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 49, Joseph S. Gurkey of Chelsea, Michigan, born in Mayfield Heights, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph S. Gurkey to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his parents, Joseph S. Gurkey and Carol A. Gurkey (Perlatti) of Concord Twp; his wife Alyssa (Mefford); his children, Grace, Jack and Kate; and his mother-in-law Marilyn Ford of The Villages, FL. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for his children.
