She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Balsley (Richardson) and Harry Balsley; and her sister Sally Cecere. She is survived by: her wife Lisa Cook; her son Jeffrey Smart (Kim); her grandchildren, Kayla, Rebecca and Hayden Smart; her sisters, Carol Firavich (Steve) and Marianne Churchill; and her brother-in-law Scott Cook (Bonnie) of Chelsea. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
