He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Edward and Emma Bertha Waterman (Hespeler); and his siblings-in-law, Philip C. Berry and Sara Dunn Berry. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy"; his children, Elizabeth "Betsy" Foss (Daniel) of Ann Arbor and John Waterman (Paige) of Bethesda, MD; his grandchildren, Marleigh Foss, Benjamin Waterman and Emma Waterman; and his sister-in-law Anne Beaubien. He is also survived by niece and nephew.
