It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilbur Lee Thompson of Charlotte, Michigan, born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Thompson and Mary Thompson (Sanders). He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Jane Black; his children, James McMillan (Carla) of Lakeland, FL, Tricia Putman of Winter Haven, FL, Gabrielle Putman of Winter Haven, FL and Amelia Oliver (Jay) of Winter Haven, FL; and his siblings, Mary and Jim. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
