She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Constance Elaine Backus (Hoar); her children, Reina Mazzoni and Randy Reed; her sisters, Vida Hale and Velda Pacquet; and her grandson Troy Mazzoni.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Steele (Daryl) and Robert Reed (Dorian); and her sisters, Viola Cook, Victoria Pereida and Valerie Howell. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
