He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Griffin; his children, Duonna Worstell (Tom), Kevin Root (Teresa), Tim Root (Doreen), Sheila Veitch (Bob) and Curt Root (Connie); and his daughter-in-law Jodi Root. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
