He is survived by: his parents, Bonnie Williams (Engel) of Charlotte and Jefferson Davis Race Jr.; his son Cameron Swanson of Lansing; his brothers, Jefferson Davis Race III (Mysi) of Burlington and James Robert Race (Megan) of Charlotte; his niece Petra Crawley (Gage); and his grandfather Robert Engel (Juanita) of Charlotte.
