With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Homer Eugene DeWaters of Charlotte, Michigan, born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on September 14, 2022 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin DeWaters and Margret DeWaters Sr. (Brininstool); his wife Phyllis Smith; and his siblings, Melvin DeWaters, Marion DeWaters, Vera McMann, Floyd DeWaters and Leslie DeWaters.

He is survived by: his children, Brian DeWaters (Ann), Alan Smith (Veronica) and Janet Eicchorn (Doug); and his sister Louise Cousino. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
