He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Wolfinger and Vera Wolfinger (Matz); and his wife Susan L. Geller. He is survived by: his children, Amy Castillo, Jeffrey Fineout and William Banks; his grandchildren, LeeVon Castillo and Chaz Castillo; his great grandchildren, Lexi and Chue; his siblings, Gary Wolfinger, Anita (Vic Hector), Lisa Wolfinger (Jeff Alford) and Larry Wolfinger; and his sister-in-law Pat (Chuck LaPeer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
