He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Voorhorst and Delia Voorhorst (Brink); his wife Johanna "Jo" Voorhorst; his children, Susan Roskos (Steven) of East Lansing and Paul Voorhorst (Cara) of Larimore, ND; his grandchildren, Sarah Grace Hayward (Drew), Josiah Roskos, Anna Roskos, Hope Roskos, Kaitlyn Voorhorst, Rachel Voorhorst, Morgan Voorhorst and Abigail Voorhorst; his sisters, Florence Martin of Chico, CA and Barbara Hartgerink of South Haven, MI; his daughter Nancy Voorhorst; and his brothers, Dale Voorhorst and Lloyd Voorhorst. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
