He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Silvas and Felicitas Silvas (Rodriguez); and his siblings, Juan Silvas (Mela), Frank Silvas (Cruz), David Silvas, Matt Silvas (Linda), Bruce Silvas (Sherry), Jobie Moist (Bill) and Mary Cruz (Leonard).
He is survived by: his wife Dora Inez Cardenas; his children, Adela Gutos (Guy) of Grand Rapids, Armando Silvas (Stephanie) of Lansing and Alex Silvas of Charlotte; his brother Pete Silvas (Maria) of Potterville; and his sister-in-law Theresa Silvas of Texas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
