He was predeceased by: his father Walter Novak; his wife Arlene Stachnik; and his brothers, Lawrence, Joseph and Edward.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Flees, Eugene Novak (Grace), Chopper Novak (Jan), Pam Zientek (Mark), Robert Novak (Johanna) and Darren Novak; and his grandchildren, Amy Robinson, Robert Flees, Chad, Shawn Novak, Jenna Groll, Tara Miller, Brandon, Nathan Zientek, Austin, Aaron Novak and Krista Bidoul. He is also survived by his fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Holy Rosary Catholic Church or Cedar Fire and Rescue.
