He is survived by: his wife Gale; his sons, Ben Nelson, John Nelson (Mandy) and Matthew Nelson (Nicole); and his siblings, Brian Nelson (Sally), Barbara Johnson (Terry) and Kathy Nelson. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
