She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Lee and Frances Jackson Sr. (Funderburk); and her sisters, Carolyn Davis and Shirley Ann Miller. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Mead (Jay); her grandchildren, Brandon Mead (April), Janelle Bradley (Denny), Blake Mead (Sarah) and Justin Mead; and her siblings, Butch Jackson, BJ Thomas and Judy Mikles.
