It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Jean Koenes of Cedar Springs, Michigan, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Afton and Nellie Afton (Dykstra); and her former husband Vernon Koenes. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Walstad (Bill) and Lori Tramper (Marty); her grandchildren, Savannah, Sierra, Sheyenne, Brandon (Megan) and Nikki; her great grandchildren, Kinlee, Meredith and Michael; her siblings, Bobby "Jug" Afton and Terry Afton (Sandra); and her close friend Paulene. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
