We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2021, at the age of 77, Ronald R. Hoogerhyde of Cedar Springs, Michigan, born in Reed City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Argyle Hoogerhyde and Lenora Hoogerhyde (Hoffman); his siblings, Vivian Witt (Earl) and Tom Hoogerhyde (Connie); and his brother-in-law Tom McKernan.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Stephen J. Hoogerhyde (Delilah Atkins), Paul Ronald Hoogerhyde and Laurie Schmidt (Michael); his grandsons, Kenneth J. Hoogerhyde (Elise), Jarrett S. Hoogerhyde, Tyler Schmidt and Tanner Schmidt; his sister Janice Green (Jerry); and his sister-in-law Carole McKernan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Paul II.
