He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Potter and Beulah Potter (Sneathen); and his brother Carl Potter. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Harold "Les" Potter Jr. (Denise), Eileen Driesenga (Randy), Emmett Potter (Sonila) and Elizabeth Johnson (Jim); and his siblings, Donovan Potter (Jane), Daniel Potter (Alice) and Elsie Sly (Bob). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
