She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Smith "Smitty" and Orma Maxine Van Houten (Ashbaugh); her sister Lorraine; and her close friend Phyllis Hoort. She is survived by: her sister Koren Forquer (David) of Edmore; her nieces and nephews, Joshua Forquer (Jodi), Jesse Forquer and Kali Fox (Eli); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Elizabeth, Silas, Kaleb, Zachary, Jacob and Tegan.
