He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spaanstra and Esther Spaanstra (VanSledright). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughters, Amanda Spaanstra-Waegel (Daniel) and Caitlin Spaanstra; and his siblings, Marcia Deur (James) and James Spaanstra (Sue). He is also survived by niece and three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the K. E. Pike Funeral Home (13603 Northland Dr NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
