With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia G Herman of Casco Township, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Behr and Grace Behr; her husband Robert E. Herman; her siblings, Marlene Grueber (Edwin), Eugene Behr (Sandra) and Barbara Olshove (John); her brother-in-law Basil Moore; and her pug Pudge.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Barngrover (Matt), Gerald Hislop, Michelle Holthus (Keith) and Susan Hislop (Tony Spiliopoulos); her stepchildren, Melanie Milne (Jerome), Kim Filarski (Matt) and Matt Herman; her grandchildren, Mark Cooper, Christin Cooper, Nicole Barngrover, Victoria Hollingsworth, Dustin Hislop, Brook Hislop, Eric Holthus, Brittany Hislop and Dionis Hislop; her great grandchildren, Angel, Travis, Alenna, Zoey, Evalynn, Gerald, Robert, Michael, Wyatt, Daniel, Dillon, Daniella "Ella" and Tyler "Ty"; her stepgrandchildren, Perry, Zachary Herndon, Joseph, Thomas, Felicia Filarski and Sunny Herman; and her sister Patricia Moore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home (912 Lapeer Ave, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Fund.
