He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hoard and Ruth Hoard (Flower); and his sister Cheryl Hoard. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Jeremy Hoard (Erin), Nathan Hoard (Kelly) and Katy Krantz (Phil); his grandchildren, Jade, Trent, Kyra, Alex and Abby; and his siblings, John Hoard (Tracy), Ruth Ann Rochon (George), Steve Hoard (Kathy), Scott Hoard (Tammie) and Kevin Hoard (Sherri). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carson City United Methodist Church.
