He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Sr and Mable Riker Sr. (Martin); his wife Esther; and his sister Maxine Gallagher. He is survived by: his sons, Marty Riker (Sue) and Scott Riker (Toni); his grandchildren, Emmy Riker, Chad Hummel, Julie Hummel, Greg Darling and Amy Darling; his great grandchildren, Nate Churchill, Paige Churchill, Pat Wesenberg and McKenzie Wesenberg; and his great great grandchildren, Trenton Churchill, Rylie Churchill, Savannah Wesenberg, Emberson Wesenberg, Chase Hummel and Chelsea Hummel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carson City Hospital or the Carson City American Legion.
