It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elton Jason (Carson City, Michigan), born in New Haven, Michigan, who passed away on July 8, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Jason and Doris Jason; his wife Lura Mae Jason; his son-in-law Daryl Schafer; his siblings, Arlene Robinson and Frank Jason; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Peffers, Dick Robinson and Larry Gerig.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Schafer, Brian Jason (Chris) and Brent Jason; his stepdaughters, Renee Hulbert (Jim) and Cheryl DelPrado (Robb); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Alyssa, Curtis, Megan, Brandon, Jordan, Mariya, Adrienne, Amy, Taylor and Emily; his sisters, Evelyn Peffers, Lillian Tillitson, Marcella Brauher and Dianna Vasquez; and his sister-in-law Agnes Jason. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Country Friends Assisted Living.
