He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Fern Helen Payne (Sweet); his son Bruce Payne; and his siblings, Bob, Paul, Emerson and Art Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Payne (Rendon); his children, David Payne (Teresa), Sharon Brown (Richard), Lisa McNutt (Bob), Dan Payne (Kristy) and Greg Payne (Bradley); his stepchildren, Ray Romain (Donna), Cindy Partlo (Mark), Randy Romain (Cathy) and Dave Romain (Tina); and his sister Marie Meints. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wayne's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Cass River Pet Friendz.
