We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2023, at the age of 91, Betty A. Scaggs of Caro, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Luther and Mary Rice (Gibbs); her husband Paul Scaggs; her son Rickie Scaggs; her sons-in-law, Michael Wizner and Jerry Bennett; and her siblings, Josephine Stapleton, Joseph Rice, Nellie Mae Gillum, Gladys Martinez, Luther Rice, Ruth Ann Short, Leroy Rice, Etta Fae Rice, BillieJean McDowell and Catie Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Wizner, Thomas Ray Blankenship and Rheta Dufresne (Patrick LaFeve); her daughter-in-law Carol Scaggs; and her stepchildren, Mildren Lynn Bennett and Deborah Ellsworth (Charles). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews; and friends.
