He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald M. Heaton and Bernice Heaton (Cromp); his half-brother Robert Simons; and his parents-in-law, Alexander and Irene Mann.
He is survived by: his wife Ilene Heaton (Mann); his pet Sadie Sue; and his sister Patricia Noud of Stayton, Oregon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
