He was predeceased by: his son Keith; and his brother-in-law Dave Bergman. He is survived by: his wife Arla; his children, Mallory Richardson (Chris), Kyle Hesselink (Sarah), Mitchell Hesselink and Kenzi Hesselink; his grandchildren, Shiloh, Ezekiel and Nora Richardson; his siblings, Ron Hesselink (Joanne), Sandy Bergman and Rick Hesselink (Theresa); and his siblings-in-law, Ardy Chapman (Leighton), Adele Shannon (Craig), Ed Wierenga (Deb) and Rick Wierenga (Vi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
