He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert I. Orchard and Isabelle Orchard; his siblings, Duane and Karen Smrcina; and his brother-in-law Charles "Chuck" Baker.

He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sons, Robert M. Orchard (Marlo) and Peter C. Orchard (Suzie); his grandchildren, Cameron (Haley), Sloane, Zane and Winston; and his sister-in-law Kathy Hansing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bob may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
