He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Dabney and Verna Mae Dabney; and his sister Shirley Merritt. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his daughter Tamara; his sister Martha Chancey (Herb); and his brother-in-law Tommie Merritt.

Contributions may be made in memory of Ken to the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra, Kent County Humane Society or Faith Hospice.
