He was predeceased by: his father Jim. He is survived by: his mother Renee (Kerkstra); his wife Jen Higgins; his daughter Sophie; and his sisters, Heather Almy (AJ) and Ashley Kooienga (Curt). He is also survived by his extended family and in laws, nieces and nephews.
