He was predeceased by: his former wife Evelyn Joyce Oeverman. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Blackport; his children, Jonathan Oeverman (Cassandra), Lindsay Buist (Dan), Katie Heintz (Nick) and Scott Oeverman (Kelsie); his stepsons, Ryan Blackport (Madhu) and Kyle Blackport (Tauna); his grandchildren, Maya, Reuben Oeverman, Aiden, Henry Buist, Sophia, Jayce Heintz, Evan, Emallise, Ellie and Eden Oeverman; his stepgrandchildren, Colby, Brayden, Kamren, Asha Blackport, Daxton, Pryor, Evie, Maklyn and Rigsie Blackport; and his siblings, Sharon Lindhout-Jonker (Rob), Den Oeverman (Jan), Carol Hulst, Deb Anderson, Kris Ver Burg (Dave) and Randy Oeverman (Tarri).
