He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, John Raterink (Connie) and Christine Raterink; his grandchildren, Sarah Loveall (Christopher), Michael Grammatico (Cora-Lyn) and John Raterink (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Charlotte, Norah, Adeline and Josiah; and his sister Shirley Vonk (Ron).

Memorial contributions in honor of George may be made to Faith Hospice or Byron Center Bible Church.
