He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard McCaul and Bernadine McCaul; his sister Mitzi; his brother-in-law Ronald Wood; and his nephew Roger Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his sons, Jeffrey McCaul (Renee) and Mark McCaul (Karin); his grandchildren, Elise, Lauren, Tyler, Cassie and Trent McCaul; his brothers, Jack Potter (Inez) and Kenneth Meringa (Jeanette); and his nieces and nephews, Timothy Wood (Andrea), Jacqueline Johnston (Jeff), Bonnie Honderd (Kraig), Robert Meringa (Amy) and Kendra Prescher (Dan).
